“ 5 stars all around! I was welcomed by the best hospitality by chef Cassy herself. She was so passionate about everything she made, and oh boy, was everything delicious! I was blown away by everything she recommend and that I tried. I will definitely be making the trip back down there! Some of the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Fried collard greens were to die for. Worth the trip and the stop! ”
“ Oh, my! What a treat! I'll admit that I'm very picky when it comes to my fried catfish. I couldn't put it down. It was perfectly breaded, seasoned and fried. The baked beans are the best I've ever had. I pretty much stole them from my husband's plate. Zero guilt.The entire meal was fantastic. The owners are warm and welcoming. The dining room was comfortable and squeaky clean. The menu had many surprises. Where else are you going to get fried collard greens, a loaded baked potato covered in shrimp and alfredo sauce, and homemade, FROM SCRATCH cinnamon buns? We were so impressed that I placed a to go order & made plans with some of our favorite people to return tomorrow. ”

“ I found this incredible place and brought the entire family. Everything on the menu sounded great so we didn't hold back with our orders. Every plate was fresh and hot. Every bite was insanely tasty and our drink glasses never emptied. We tried the BBQ and it's a must have for any order. I recommend the brisket and sausage with Mac and cheese and potato salad for the sides. If you are a true Texan you'll want their sweet tea. Make sure to get a slice of pecan pie for dessert.
